Fault reporting

We want to make sure our campuses and accommodations are always in great shape for you! If something needs repairing, you can easily let us know  - we're here to help. 

Reporting a non-urgent fault

(Other repair QR Codes placed in rooms around campus/accommodation are not working due to planned upgrades, except those on Information Boards and common rooms.)

How to report a fault:

    1. Use this portal link to report a fault
    2. Enter your university username (e.g abc123) and your university password
    3. Please select Fault Report
    4. Select the type of fault you have
    5. Select the correct room location using the search feature or map select tool
    6. Enter all the information possible for the issue
    7. Once you have finished the form with all the information click Submit, this will then log the fault within our estates system. 

Emergency repair callouts outside of office hours

Please contact the University Security Team if there is an emergency repair needed. This is an emergency situation in which life is threatened and/or there is a likelihood of catastrophic damage to University property. Examples include:

- Fire, imminent risk of fire or explosion
- Gas leaks
- Leakage of water from plumbing or heating service not connected by local drains
- Loss of electrical supply to a building
- Lift breakdown with passengers inside.
