In this one-hour masterclass students will develop their knowledge of the ways in which engineering has enabled social change.

In this fast-paced one-hour masterclass with an academic and/or postgraduate ambassadors, students will develop their knowledge of the ways in which engineering has enabled social change. Students will critically consider how engineering has historically impacted on the changing role of women in society through mechanisation of household tasks, the current social and economic impacts on production/workforce and the current and future role of engineering in tackling climate change and sustainability.
