Learning and Teaching Conference 2023

“Human Intelligence in the age of Artificial Intelligence”

12 – 4pm Wednesday November 15th 2023

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) has dramatically altered the way we consider learning and teaching in Higher Education. As we continue to grapple with the implications for learning, teaching and assessment across schools, colleges and Universities, we are asking you to join the discussion, help find solutions, and create positive and proactive approaches.

At the 2023 Learning and Teaching conference we came together to present, discuss, debate and find solutions to the challenges, by considering the value of human intelligence in the age of AI. The theme is broad, and we are keen for it to be interpreted through the lens of subject specialisms, education research interests, practical teaching experiences, creative applications, and much more.

Our keynote speaker, Dr Sarah Eaton, is well placed to discuss the unfolding implications of open access generative AI on the higher education landscape, giving you an excellent opportunity to hear from an expert.
