HyFlex Teaching Pilot
HyFlex teaching refers to live and synchronous learning which happens simultaneously in an on-campus classroom and online. The tutor interacts with the face-to-face students who are in the on-campus classroom, and with the online students who join the teaching session remotely from their laptop, tablet, or mobile phone.
For the 2023/24 academic year, LTE and IT are jointly delivering a HyFlex teaching pilot on the Canterbury and Medway campuses. Specific teaching rooms will be equipped to facilitate the delivery of HyFlex teaching, and full learning and teaching support will be provided to those engaging with the pilot.
This website provides introductory and support materials for those engaging with the pilot and, in time, it will report the findings of the pilot once a detailed evaluation has taken place in late summer 2024.
