Students get the opportunity to determine the alcohol content of alcoholic drinks using NMR spectroscopy using our state of the art lab facilities.

In this interactive four-hour workshop with an academic and/or postgraduate ambassadors, students will deepen and apply their understanding of NMR spectroscopy within our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.

Students will deepen their understanding of the industry and clinical uses for of NMR spectroscopy before getting hands on to measure the alcohol content of a range of drinks. Students will develop their knowledge of how to interpret NMR spectra (and related key concepts).
