Is your laptop broken, or left at home? Can't find a free campus PC? Access our iBorrow scheme at specific locations across our campuses.
An iBorrow is a small, lightweight University laptop that can be borrowed for use in certain buildings.
Simply borrow an iBorrow from a cabinet and, when you are finished with it, return it to the cabinet you borrowed it from and plug it back in, ready for the next user.
You can use an iBorrow inside the building you borrow it from - you may not remove them from their buildings, or take them home. They are security tagged and will become unusable if removed.
You can log in with your University username and password (the details you would use to log on to a University PC) and access the same software* that you would expect to find on University PCs.
*Please note that some software (specific to certain courses like Engineering, Creative Arts etc.) may only be accessed in specialist IT labs and by students registered on those courses.
