Based in the historic city of Canterbury, we offer a range of excellent summer accommodation. Suitable for all types of bookings: summer schools, coach groups, language schools, and families.
At our Canterbury Campus, we offer a complete package for summer schools and external groups.
Our Canterbury Campus is situated in a fantastic location, just a short journey away from France via the Eurotunnel. You can also hop on the high speed train from Canterbury West and be in London in just under an hour.
Our University accommodation sites also have great transport links, with two train stations, a National Express coach stop, and a regional bus station all within ten minute’s walk of 80% of our accommodation.
Petros Court is the most recently constructed University accommodation and offers 418 double bed ensuite rooms arranged in cluster flats of three to eight guests. Each flat has a spacious kitchen/dining area, furnished with sofas and a television.
Petros Court is located within a five minute walk of the Canterbury city centre and has two landscaped courtyards.
St George's Centre offers modern accommodation, which is ideally located in the centre of Canterbury. You'll be perfectly placed as you'll be close to campus and next to The Lounge.
St George’s Centre has over 200 double ensuite bed rooms arranged in flats of up to eight guests. The flats all come with a communal kitchen and dining area, furnished with sofas and a television.
The Lounge is the 200-seater onsite restaurant and bar at St George’s, capable of providing catering and social space for any and all types of booking, on request.
St George’s is situated just a few minutes’ walk from the main high street. Its prime location offers a fantastic opportunity to visit all of the historic sites that Canterbury has to offer.
Lanfranc is situated within the North Gate area of Canterbury and within the city's historic Kings Mile, just a five minute walk from the main campus.
The enclosed accommodation is a self-contained site, making it extremely popular with families and summer schools. There are single and double bed rooms available in flats and houses for 3-7 guests. Secure parking is available on request.
Pin Hill is situated just two minutes' walk from Augustine House and the city centre, and ten minutes from the main North Holmes Road campus.
Pin Hill overlooks the city walls and is located opposite Canterbury East train station - a short walk from the city centre and Dane John Gardens. The accommodation consists of 157 rooms with a mix of double bed ensuite and shared facilities. This accommodation is perfect for small groups, students, and travellers on a budget.
The City Halls and Houses are located at various sites across Canterbury, close to both the University campus and the city centre.
Ranging from traditional Victorian houses to more modern ensuite semi-detached, there is a house for every booking.
Vernon Place and Dover Street are close to St George’s Centre and the inner city, whilst Holmes Court, North Holmes Road houses, and Havelock Street houses are found parallel to the main University campus.
Ranging from 3-5 beds, and a mix of ensuite and non-ensuite, these properties are perfect for families who are studying on campus, or for tourists who wish to explore the city and stay in a more familiar and homely style of accommodation.
