The electronic practice assessment document (ePAD) is an online comprehensive record of the student’s professional development in practice. This online platform enables practitioners, students and academic staff to access practice assessments. The ePAD was introduced several years ago at CCCU and is available for Adult, Mental Health and Child Nursing.
This webpage includes resources and guidance for students, practitioners and academics. If you require any further support, please contact epad@canterbury.ac.uk

don’t receive the verification email in your inbox, check your junk mail folder. If you have any problems with the process or don’t receive the email, contact the university ePAD support.

The app is designed to work offline, once you have signed in and your ePAD forms have synchronised with it. When a form is submitted, the app will check to see if a connection is available. If it is available, the form will sync to the website automatically. If no data connection is available, or if you have selected only to sync via Wi-Fi and there is no Wi-Fi available, the form will be saved as “ready to sync”. The student is responsible for making sure the app is synchronised with the ePAD website, so the submitted form appears in their ePAD.
EPAD is not used to log absence, this is documented through the Practice Education Management System.
