The Social Work bursary is available to all Social Work students. This bursary is awarded by the government to help you throughout your studies.
Whether you live in or outside London, you’ll receive a bursary from the government for each year of study.
If you are a second or third year student studying Social Work and have lived in England for at least three years, you will be able to apply for the Social Work bursary.
The deadline depends on when your course starts. Simply check the NHS website to find specific dates.
Simply create an account on the NHS website and apply.
You will be paid through three instalments over the academic year.
CCCU is allocated a certain number of awards that is not equivalent to the number of students on the course. Therefore, not all students can receive the bursary even if they meet the criteria. We administer a fair system for allocating available bursaries.
This also applies to students who are studying on our one year partnership top-up BA Social Work Studies in Bromley.
However, all students will receive a travel allowance of up to £862.50 even if they do not receive the full Social Work bursary.
