We’re changing the way we do education at Canterbury Christ Church University. We know that students need more than just a degree to succeed. Employers are looking for dynamic, open-minded graduates who can adapt, innovate, and collaborate.
Our University is known for providing the skills and knowledge employers value – in fact, we’re in the top 20 in the UK for graduates going into employment after their degree (according to the HESA Graduate Outcomes Survey, 2024).
But we know that we need to stay ahead of the curve and continue to deliver outstanding outcomes and experience for all our students.
That’s why we’re embracing change here at CCCU. We have designed a new way of teaching and learning to ensure that all our students are work-ready for when they graduate.
So, in line with our Vision 2030 strategy, we have carried out a complete review of how we offer our courses.
Launching in September 2025, our new students starting on a range of courses* will be the first to experience this exciting new approach to teaching and learning. From September 2026 all courses will reflect the exciting changes that are currently being introduced.
These are bitesize modules designed to help you settle in and obtain core skills such as critical thinking, digital literacy, and sustainability. You’ll engage with contemporary, thought-provoking topics and issues whilst maximising your chance of success right from the start of your studies. An example could be “Inclusive Teamwork and Leadership”.
