Students will take a deep dive into the world of psychology research and immerse themselves in what it is like to study psychology at degree level.

In this fast-paced two-hour masterclass with academics and/or ambassadors, students will take a deep dive into the world of psychology research and immerse themselves in what it is like to study psychology at degree level (and beyond). In addition to having a tour of our state-of-the-art research facilities, they will find out what it is like to participate in a psychology experiment. Students will deepen their understanding of the foundations and applications of psychology through a range of interactive activities/demonstrations (e.g., experimental tasks and observations, virtual reality, eye tracking, functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy). Throughout the workshop your students will be able to speak to current psychology students to find out more about university life first-hand.

The complexity of the explanation and content of this workshop is adapted to ensure age/stage appropriate delivery.
