In this in-depth four-hour interactive workshop with an academic and/or postgraduate ambassadors, students will take a deep dive into how psychology has, and continues to revolutionise and modernise the criminal justice system. This 'audience participation' event demonstrates a simulated arrest, police interview, trial and walk through a real prison yard. Students will develop their understanding of the role of forensic psychology at each stage of the process whilst getting to experience our state-of-the-art facilities. In addition to taking on a range of roles across the workshop (e.g., criminal, juror, judge) students will work in our justice suite (mock police station), the old court room, and prison grounds.

The complexity of the explanation and content of this workshop is adapted to ensure age/stage appropriate delivery.
