If you are a new student you will likely have a tour arranged as part of your induction. However we offer an induction to the library all year round.

Book a guided tour

If you missed a tour as part of your induction, joined the University later or simply need a refresher, students can book a tour of Augustine House. There are two options, you can:

  • book on to a group tour. If you wish to tour with a group of friends please book individually on to the same tour, so we can confirm numbers.
  • book a personalised 1:1 tour.

Staff are offered a tour as part of the main staff induction events. Academic staff are encouraged to make contact with the Faculty Learning Skills team.

At Salomons, simply contact the library team to arrange a tour.

Self-guided tour

Anyone can take a self-guided tour of the library:

Take the tour whenever you want. At Augustine House pick up a map from the lollipop stand in the reception area. Learn to navigate the building and watch short videos on how to make use of our facilities.
