Profile summary:
I have worked in higher education for almost 20 years and developed a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in 3 universities in a number of roles. I joined CCCU as Transition and Orientation Manager in February 2018. I had previously spent 5 years at the University of Sheffield as a Learning and Teaching Project Manager. I took the lead on a number of key projects including Assessment and Feedback, Programme and Module Evaluation, Student Transition and Orientation and the e-portfolio project.
I was a department manager in a busy academic department for a number of years and this has provided me with the insight to understand the balance between the organisation’s strategic objectives and the day to day operational academic activities. As a qualified Prince2 Project Manager and an APM Change Management Practitioner I am able to review processes, recommend and implement change. I have an MA in Management Studies and my research focus was staff and student engagement with learning technology.
External activities
An active member of the AUA and the Association of Project Managers I have a keen interest in networking across the sector to share and disseminate good practice.
