In this fast-paced one-hour masterclass with an academic and/or ambassadors, students will deepen their understanding of normative ethics.

In this fast-paced one-hour masterclass with an academic and/or ambassadors, students will deepen their understanding normative ethics. They will critically examine the appeal and challenges of establishing and following objective moral norms. Finally they will investigate whether any moral norms can be considered truly objective.

Curriculum Links:

  • Religious Studies (Key Stage 5/ Level 3) – Ethics and Religion (consequentialism, moral decision making, Normative ethics)
  • CIAG – Understanding the relevance of religious studies and other qualifications at Level 2 and 3 to future career paths
