Mrs Lisa Adams

I am a qualified Mental Health Nurse. I previously worked in a dementia acute ward, and for child and adolescent mental health services within the community. I am a lecturer in Mental Health Nursing, teaching across the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Social Care. I am currently Practice Placement Lead for the BSC Mental Health Nursing undergraduate degree, as well as the Course Director.

I co-manage a football club designed to support those who come from difficult, underprivileged backgrounds. I strive to provide a safe space for people to enjoy football without the pressures of their normal day to day lives. The club ethos is 'open to all'.
