Calling all final year undergraduates and postgraduate students! This is your chance to shape CCCU’s future by completing your student survey today! Cash prizes are available!

Students on foundation courses, level four, and five students can also have an impact on what the University by writing a WhatUni Review! Help inspire and support future students and you’ll be entered into a cash price draw!

Upcoming opportunities to share your student voice include:

  • Feedback to the Library Team on how they can improve their support, services, resources, and facilities on 14 February, 10am – 3pm in Augustine House.
  • The University has launched a Transformational Change Programme to ensure CCCU remains successful and financially sustainable, while enhancing the experience for both students and staff. Find out more about the programme  or come along to the Students' Union Ask the VC event on 13 March at the SU Hub, Mary Seacole Building.

Let’s talk

Time to Talk Day is on 6 February and it’s the UK’s biggest conversation on mental health. This is your chance to come together, break down barriers around mental health, and have positive experiences.

This month, get involved in two StressLess events on 6 and 11 February. Make connections, meet new people, get crafty, and maybe even enjoy a FREE hot chocolate.

Here are other ways to look out for yourself this month and beyond:

  • Sign up for one of the SU’s Don’t Burn Out! Campaign puppy therapy sessions for some much needed puppy cuddles on 20 February in the SU Hub.
  • Be part of this year’s Zine making project focusing on wellbeing and mental health. Peek into our Archives for imagery, text, quotes, medical advice, and more on 25 February in AH1.41.
  • TABLEtalk happens every Thursday at Medway with a new theme every week. It’s a great space to connect with others and enjoy something new. 

  • Come to one of our regular wellbeing events throughout the week. All are welcome to come along for a FREE cuppa and stay for a chat.

  • February’s Curzon Film Club will show Romeo and Juliet on 10 February at 6pm and Cleo de 5 a 7 on 24 February at 6pm. Stick around after the films to engage in thoughtful discussions.
  • Medway drop in Academic Success Session with the Learning Skills Team on 13 February to get your questions answered and learn new skills. Or book a one-to-one with a member of the Learning Skills Team.

  • Inaugural Lecture: Professor Abdullahi Ahmed discusses The Human-Technology Nexus: Transforming Systems for a Human-Centric Net Zero Future in the Built Environment on 18 February, 6 – 7.30pm.
  • Join the Medway Campus Chaplain for a day trip to Oxford on 8 March. Register by 3 March to secure your spot on the coach for only £8. 

  • Get inspired by one of the many Arts and Culture events during the month of February – with live musical performances, film features, PG Exhibits, and more!

  • January’s graduation ceremonies welcomed iconic and inspirational figures from the worlds of children’s TV, art, journalism, law, and faith to receive Honorary Doctorates.
  • CCCU ranked 5th in the south east outside of London for sustainability in the UK’s People & Planet University League.
