Using LibrarySearch

To find books or journal articles from your reading list, keep your search simple. There is no need to type in all the details shown on your reading list.

Books

If this book featured on your reading list – Cottrell, S. (2024) The study skills handbook. 6th edn. London: Bloomsbury Academic – you only need to type the following into LibrarySearch: Cottrell “study skills”.

Journal articles

This is what a results page looks like when looking for a journal article:

Search for a topic

This is what a results page looks like when looking for a topic. Use the Library Resources tab to view results for printed books and e-books and the Digital Resources tab to view results for journal articles and more e-books.

Once you have found some useful sources, you can save them to your Favourites. Check the box next to the item and use the Select an Action drop-down menu to save to Favourites. Get direct access to your Favourites area using the link at the top of the screen.
