Using databases
We use databases daily to find and access information such as navigating Netflix for film/TV, Spotify for music, even searching contacts on your phone.
Learning Outcomes
For academic assignments, the Library provides access to databases that allow you to explore the research literature in your subject area to discover new developments and arguments, how your subject area changed over time and what might the future hold.
From this module, you will:
- Grow an understanding of what library databases are and the benefits of using them
- Discover which databases you have access to via CCCU LibrarySearch
- Find, access and get started using databases for your assignments
