Ethical digital literacy
Finding material online and critically appraising it for scholarliness is one aspect of research, knowing how you can use it ethically in your assignments and in your life beyond uni is another.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand what we mean by a ‘remix culture’ (Manovich, 2007).
- Know the mechanisms by which you can respect the intellectual property of others.
- Appreciate the values underpinning academia and know what ‘academic integrity’ means for you as a student.
