University Teaching Excellence Award Winners
The winners of the 2018 University Teaching Excellence Awards where presented their certificates at the Learning and Teaching Conference on the 27th June 2018.
Innovation
The Innovation UTEA is awarded to those who can demonstrate an outstanding contribution to learning, teaching and/or assessment practice within the University. In particular, the contribution will be directly related to an innovation in one or more key principles of the Learning and Teaching Strategy, 2015-2020.
Winners: Collaborative Care Project - Sarah Harvey, School of Allied Health Professions; Lucie Duncan, Student Mental Wellbeing Services and Will Howe, School of Medial Art and Design.
Early Career
The Early Career UTEA is awarded to individuals who have been teaching in Higher Education for five years or less and can demonstrate an outstanding contribution to learning, teaching and/or assessment practice within the University.
Winner: Zulfi Ali, Senior Lecturer, School of Childhood and Education Sciences, Faculty of Education
Team Award
The Team UTEA is awarded to a collaborative group or team (two or more people), who can demonstrate an outstanding contribution to learning, teaching and/or assessment practice within the University.
Winners: Public Health Champions - Sally Robinson, Tristi Brownett, Rajeeb Sah, Adele Phillips, Athene Lane-Martin, Gail Sheppard - School of Public Health, Midwifery and Social Work, Faculty of Health and Wellbeing.
Stephanie Welsh – Planning and Academic Administration, Eleni Hatzidimitiadou – Research and Knowledge Exchange Activity.
