A lecture by Dr. Richard Warren (Kent Law Clinic, Uni of Kent) looking at recent developments in the UK’s asylum system, particularly unaccompanied minors.
This talk will aim to consider recent developments in the UK’s asylum system, with a particular focus on the hurdles faced by unaccompanied children seeking protection in the UK. It will also consider the rights they acquire if their applications are successful, including ongoing obstacles to family reunion and citizenship.
