Parking is available on request at St Martin’s Priory and North Holmes Road. To park at our venues you will need to request parking permits from the event manager. Parking is on a first come first serve basis and a permit does not allocate you a space but gives you the right to use the car parks under University policy.

There is no parking available at Augustine House.

There is a café available at Augustine House and North Holmes Road. There are no catering facilities available at St Martin’s Priory; the closest catering outlet is on the North Holmes Road campus. However, you can pre order the refreshments and catering and it will be served in the room for you.

Please note, you can pre order your hospitality prior to arrival or offer lunch and refreshment vouchers for your delegates.

Unfortunately, the university policy does not allow any external catering to be brought onto any of our campuses. Hospitality can be served at all of our venues and our dedicated hospitality team ensure that your event runs smoothly, we can offer an extensive range of catering across our different venues in Kent. We have a wide choice of hot and cold food menus, from simple buffets to formal dinners – all offering a high standard of service and cuisine which will put organisers and delegates at ease. Our menus are prepared largely from locally sourced produce and we are more than happy to cater to individual dietary needs.

The majority of our rooms have the option of a catering service.  Please indicate that you would specifically require a ‘catering friendly’ room when you discuss your booking with us.  If the room you are booked in does not allow a catering service we can most certainly serve your catering in a nearby location/food servery – or alternatively guide you to our self-service catering outlet closest to your venue/meeting room where you can find a choice of foods & refreshments.

We are happy to meet with you/your group on arrival.  We will discuss and mutually agree the details prior to your event.  This is a good opportunity for you to familiarise yourself with the environment & resources to hand during your conference/meeting.

Accommodation

The dates can vary year on year but as a rough guide it is usually the first weekend of July to the first weekend of September. Dates before or after this time may be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Our students often leave their accommodation the last week of June and come back in mid-September for the academic year.

Unfortunately, only guide dogs or assistance dogs are allowed in our accommodation.

Yes, we are more than happy to offer show rounds of any accommodation site. If you require a show round of accommodation, please note that during the academic year when students are in residence, we must give at least 1 weeks’ notice to students for any visit. Please also kindly note that when visiting the student accommodation, it is currently being lived in by our students and therefore will perhaps not be as clean as one would expect in their own home. All accommodation is given a thorough deep clean prior to summer business.
