I have never run before; can I take part?

I’m dealing with schedule conflicts, what can I do?

What should I wear?
The most important item for the programme is a pair of running shoes, however they may not be necessary for the first session, where you can ask our staff’s advice on what might be best for you. Beyond running shoes, we suggest comfortable clothing suitable for general exercise.
Do we run in all weather?
Yes, we do! Although we will communicate in advice with you if the programme is postposed due to potentially dangerous weather. Obviously, you are welcome to chose to run or not based on your own experience.
What if I’m not as capable as others on the programme?
Everyone progresses at their own pace, and we are here to support that! This is why we have more than one person leading the sessions so no one gets left behind. We also have flexibility to extend the program to 12 weeks if we/you feel you need a little more time.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are usually around 45 minutes.
What sort of terrain do we run on?

What happens after the programme?
We just keep on running! Mondays session has the ability to transfer directly over to Christ Church Runners and they also run on a Wednesday at 12:30 so you can keep your running routine to 2x per week once you have graduated.
I’ve changed my mind, can I get a refund?

I can't make all of the sessions
That's okay, don't worry! We will let you know the details for the sessions you can't make so you can complete them in your own time.
