You can make a significant difference to a student's future by donating to the Aspire Scholarship today. Whose future will you change?

The Aspire Scholarship is aimed at students from disadvantaged backgrounds who may come from lower-income or disadvantaged families, be the first in their family to go to university, or have no family support at all. These students have the most to gain from university life. They also have the most to worry about financially if they get here.

The Aspire Scholarship offers students £5,000 a year during their undergraduate studies, which is a significant contribution towards their cost of living, and will enable them to participate fully in university life. They’ll also receive access to a Futures Coach and bespoke workshops to build confidence and employability skills.

Whose future will you change?

You can make a significant difference to a student's future by donating to the Aspire Scholarship today.

  • £10 a month could help a student in hardship to buy essential food/provisions.
  • £25 a month could support the travel costs for a student travelling to their work placement.
  • £100 could fund the cost of essential textbooks and equipment.
  • £250 could support a student's accommodation costs whilst studying at Canterbury Christ Church University.
  • £4,800 could fund a student’s rent for a whole year whilst studying at Canterbury Christ Church University.
  • £15,000 will fully fund an Aspire Scholarship for an undergraduate student over three years.

100% of your donation will directly support students. Canterbury Christ Church University covers all administrative costs.

If just 25 people give a gift of £17 a month, it would fully fund an Aspire Scholarship.

You can transform a student's future today.

The scholarship has helped me out immensely as the extra support has granted me the opportunity to solely focus on my degree and time at university. My coach has helped me in working out strategies to cope with my stress and the funds have helped with any concerns I have with being able to support myself whilst at university.
