Here at Canterbury Christ Church University you can study for a research degree either full or part-time, allowing you to balance a job and your studies. Many of our researchers are professionals who have returned to study part-time.

Why do a Master's by Research?

Master's by Research (MA or MSc routes) (1 year FT, 2 years PT)

Sometimes studied as a stepping stone to a PhD, this course involves undertaking a research project and will include training in research methods relevant to your chosen discipline.
