We provide a high quality academic and clinical learning experience offering specialised MCh pathways, the MSc in Physician Associate Studies, and ground-breaking research. The Institute houses a fully equipped clinical Simulation Suite and an Advanced Clinical Skills Procedures Centre.
The Institute recently became only one of six UK universities running the International Sponsorship Scheme for International Medical Graduates (IMGs), permitting those IMGs who meet the General Medical Council (GMC) criteria to gain GMC registration whilst studying at the University and supported by named clinicians.
Teaching and research within the Institute is led by internationally renowned leading clinicians and researchers.
The Stem Cell Research and Advanced Bio-Engineering Laboratory (SCRABEL) is located at our Medway Campus, and is a facility focused on regenerative medicine and musculoskeletal tissue engineering.
