Congratulations on receiving your offer! Find out what to do next.

Your offer will be either conditional or unconditional.

An unconditional offer means you have satisfied all the academic entry requirements, such as qualifications. A conditional offer usually means that your offer depends on you achieving a specific grade or level in your exams.

Helping you make the right choice

So that we can help you make the right choice, we hold a number of Offer Holder events which are designed to give you a real taste of the course through subject taster sessions. You'll also be able to meet others you could be studying alongside, as well as current students and academic staff from your course.

Our Offer Holder events are specifically for offer holders and give you the chance to find out more about the course you have applied for, meet others who you could be studying with, and take another look around the campus.

If you've applied for a course which requires an interview or audition, you'll have an opportunity to come back and visit the campus on an interview day rather than an Offer Holder event.

Getting prepared for results day

There's a lot to think about during results day and we're sure you'll be feeling a lot of emotions. To help you get fully prepared, read what to do on results day so you're ready for when you receive your results and offers.

You may need to send your results in to your chosen university or you might be considering going through Clearing. Whatever happens, make sure you have a plan in place for what happens after you've opened those all-important results envelopes!

Accepting your offer

When you’ve received a decision from all your choices, you’ll be able to respond to your offers in UCAS. There’ll be a certain date that you need to reply by and this date will depend on when you submitted your application.

UCAS will give you a deadline to respond to your offers by, so make sure you look out for it in UCAS Hub. Your deadline will be given to you once you've heard back from all your UCAS choices. If you want to accept your place earlier then you'll be able to do this in the Hub.
