We want to know what works for you - so we can do more of the same - and the areas in which you think we can improve. This is key to Vision 2030, our strategic framework for the rest of this decade.

Throughout the year there are opportunities for you to have your say about a variety of topics, in a variety of ways.

Top Tips

  • Take part in the national student surveys. They take place each year and give you a chance to have your say and shape your future at Christ Church. Check out some of the ways we responded to your feedback during the last academic year.
  • Talk to the student rep for your course, School or Faculty. These are students on your course who are elected to represent your views.
  • If you have a problem try to use early resolution before making a formal complaint. You can do this with either the member of staff concerned or that person’s immediate supervisor or manager. The Student Mediation Service can also help you find a positive solution to a difficult situation by working with all parties involved to agree a way forward.

Student voice opportunities

Each year, we invite you to take part in the national student surveys. There are different surveys for different levels of study and research, but they all focus on your student experience.

The results of the national student surveys help us understand what we do well – so we know to keep doing it – and where we need to improve. They also enable us to compare our performance with other, similar institutions.

All our National Student Surveys are now live. Take part in your student survey today!

Student Course Representatives

Student course representatives (often referred to as 'Course Reps') act as a voice for the students on their course, providing feedback to the University and Christ Church Students’ Union on their academic experience as well as wider student issues. They are elected by their fellow students, and get to participate in staff-student meetings known as student forums.

Hilda and Marthijs were Student Reps for their respective courses in 2022/23. In these short videos, they talk about the role, what it involved and their achievements.
