About the Show

Sister Act is the feel-amazing musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film. With original music by Tony and 8-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty And The Beast, Little Shop Of Horrors), this uplifting show was nominated for 5 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Follow Deloris Van Cartier, a disco diva whose life takes an unexpected turn when she witnesses a murder. Placed in protective custody at a convent, Deloris struggles to adapt to the strict lifestyle. But when she uses her disco moves and powerful voice to inspire the convent’s choir, she transforms the community and rediscovers her own voice — all while evading danger.

Filled with powerful gospel music, outrageous dancing, and a truly moving story, Sister Act is a sparkling tribute to the power of friendship, sisterhood, and the universal joy of music.
