In this workshop, students will develop their understanding of the social, cultural and historical context in which Shakespeare was working.

In this in-depth two-hour workshop with an academic and/or ambassadors, students will develop their understanding of the social, cultural and historical context in which Shakespeare was working. Students will critically consider Shakespeare’s use of character, staging and atmosphere and its relevance to and reinterpretation in contemporary theatre. They will have opportunity to experience our dedicated performance spaces.
