Rahul holds 2 Chairs at Canterbury Christ Church University. The first is in Otorhinolaryngology, the second in Medical Innovation.

I am the Course Lead for the MCh Otorhinolaryngology programme, and I am also responsible for delivering the Otology and Neuro-otology module. With key ties to the Clinical Research Network and NHS Trusts, I am also involved in supporting and undertaking research in a wide variety of fields.
I have led the MCh Otorhinolaryngology Pathway since its conception over a decade ago. I also support the Physicians Associate programme at CCCU and teach KMMS medical students at Medway Maritime Hospital.
I have a specialist interest in Hearing and Balance disorders. I have published a number of peer reviewed papers within these fields that have had a significant positive effect on the management of patients both within the United Kingdom and overseas.
I am an Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons and the European Board.
