Your first week is essential in giving you the foundation you need to settle into uni and succeed in your studies.

  1. Attend your academic course welcome sessions - this is an essential induction and orientation to your course to ensure you get your studies off to a good start. Your Welcome Schedules will be available in mid-August.

  2. Check your access to Blackboard: Blackboard is the University’s Virtual Learning Environment providing you with access to your learning materials, resources and services to support your studies. You will need to set up your CCCU computer account to access Blackboard.

  3. Set up your IT by connecting to Wifi and downloading your free software

  4. Check our Student Code of Conduct so you can see what behaviour we expect and how we provide students a safe and supportive environment, free from discrimination,

  5. International students: You must attend an in-person appointment with our Compliance team so we can verify your identity and qualifications once you arrive in the UK. You must do this within two weeks of your arrival.
