Our Student Futures Commitment has been co-created with students and the Students' Union and is our pledge on what truly matters to your student experience and sustainble futures.
To become a CCCU student, there are certain things you need to do before you even arrive. Here are your must do tasks:
- Complete online registration: you need to complete your registration in order to officially become a CCCU student and start your studies. If you are on a Student Route visa, an EU student with Pre-Settled or Settled status or have a non British passport, you must attend an in-person appointment with our Compliance team to become fully registered.
- Create your CCCU computer account: You will be invited to do this at the point of registration and you will need your account to access your student digital services.
- Check your course essentials for useful information to help you prepare for your studies - available in June.
- Make sure your vaccinations are up to date: we want you to stay healthy and well, so we advise you to check what vaccines you feel you may need before you arrive and make sure you register with a local GP once here.
- Check your key dates - find out when you will be able to access your teaching timetable and how to do so

We also recognise that different students will require different information – so whether you have a disability or mental health condition, are planning to commute, or are arriving from overseas, we have the support in place to help your start at CCCU go smoothly.

We’re here to help and support you throughout your time at CCCU so you have the best experience possible and achieve your goals. To help you feel confident and prepared to start university, we have created a closed Facebook for 2024/25 where we will be posting regular updates and information leading up to your start date including a range of welcome events so you can get involved from the beginning.
