A General Election has just been called and the country is revving up for the next 5 weeks of campaigning from political parties.
Get ready for an exciting summer at CCCU – with exam results for many due soon, Pride Month, Arts and Culture celebrations, Postgraduate Answers Day and much more…
The General Election is on 4 July and you need to register to vote by midnight on Tuesday, 18 June to make your voice heard and shape the future of the UK!

A free husting events is being held in Augustine House on Wednesday 19 June, where you can meet the candidates for the 2024 General Election in Canterbury and have the chance to ask your questions. You can find out more and book your place at the event here.
Join us in celebrating Pride Canterbury on 8 June! Wave at us in the parade, visit our stall and check out our blog for tips on making the most of the day. Explore the LGBTQIA+ book display in the library and join us for our Pride Stressless Event on 6 June, 1-6pm, Augustine House, second floor.

We hope your assessments went well! Remember to mark your calendar with the results dates. You will receive an email when your results are ready and you can then access them online in MyRecord (located in the ‘My Studies’ tab, under ‘My Assessments’).
If you have reassessments, remember there is plenty of support available to help you succeed in your exams and coursework. If you are in your final year and are required to take a reassessment to complete your studies, please note your graduation ceremony will be at a later date.
Summer is the perfect time to plan for your future career, develop your skills and prepare for that graduate job, whether that is now or in the future!
Whether it is returning library books or moving out of accommodation, check out the things you need to consider before going on your summer break.

Remember, our support services are available for everyone throughout the summer,both in person and online – including the i-zone, Student Wellbeing, the Library and the Learning Skills Team.
24/7 emotional support is available via our partners, Spectrum.Life, with qualified professionals available online, text and telephone. So, whether you go back home in the UK or overseas for the summer or you stay local, someone is always there for you.
The Wellbeing Café will be running throughout the summer, providing students a safe and relaxing place to come chat with the Student Support Advisers or just enjoy a free cup of tea and some biscuits. Every Thursday afternoon, 2 – 4.30pm in the Food Court.
We will be sending updates throughout the summer so please check your university email account regularly. There is also your Welcome Back Hub which provides you with all the information you will need to plan your return for the new academic year.
