Whether you've decided to join us this September because you've chosen a new university location or course, or you're returning to education after a break, going to university can be one of the best decisions of your life.

There are loads of things which can help you to decide, from learning more about the city to meeting your tutors, and, of course, seeing the campus - and the best way to learn about these things is to attend an Open Day!  

The thing which really struck me about CCCU was the feeling I got the first time I visited. It's hard to describe, but I felt like it matched me and my ambitions well. One of the main aims of the Open Days is to give you an insight into student life and show you how things work at CCCU, but there are plenty of other reasons to attend one of our Clearing Open Days.

Learn about your course

Even if you've found your perfect course and already read the course page 100 times over, speaking to your department or course leader will give you a deeper insight into what studying at CCCU will be like.

Meet your tutors

Open Days give you the chance to meet some of the people who will be teaching you whilst at uni. You can meet your future tutors and chat to them about your subject interest, specific modules, and future career aspirations.

See the campus

From accommodation to walking tours, there are plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with our campuses at an Open Day! Whether we're showcasing secret spots on campus, taking you into the amazing facilities, including our Verena Holmes building for Science, Technology, Health, Engineering and Medicine, or showing you a room in one of the accommodation blocks, you'll be able to explore the entire campus.

During the Open Day you'll also get the chance to go on a student-led tour of the campus. This is a great chance to find out more about everyday campus life and chat to one of our current students.

Ask questions

I know I had enough questions to put Question Time to shame when I first visited the uni, and I'm sure you do too! Luckily, we've got you covered.

We appreciate that when you come to visit, you're here for answers. And the day is ultimately about you, not us. CCCU want you to make the best informed decision you can make. That's why our Open Days are called Answers Days. It's a day to find out what you need to know to make one of the most important decisions of your life. 

In the days leading up to - and the day of - our Answers Day, we'll give you the chance to ask both general and specific questions about living and studying at CCCU. From queries about moving to a new city to our favourite picnic spots on campus (p.s it's the green by the pond), we're here to ease your mind and get you excited for uni.

You'll have the chance to talk to professional service departments such as Admissions, Accommodation ,and the Student Wellbeing teams.
