The Equitable Student Outcomes Advisory Panel is a dynamic team of students working to ensure equal opportunities for all students at our University. Together, we aim to identify and address disparities in student outcomes and create a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone to succeed.

What will you do?

As an Equitable Student Outcomes Advisory Panel member, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Advocate for all: Represent your peers and champion equality in student outcomes.
  • Analyse and learn: Examine data to identify gaps in outcomes and assess the effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Engage in a supportive community: Participate in lively discussions, workshops, and special events.
  • Shape the future: Provide input that will influence University campaigns and initiatives.

Who can join?

We’re looking for students who identify with one or more of the following groups:

  • Students from ethnic groups including Black, Asian, and Mixed backgrounds.
  • Male students.
  • Students who are the first in their family to attend university (excluding siblings).
  • Care leavers or care-experienced students.
  • Students studying without family support.
  • Unaccompanied asylum seekers or refugees.
  • Mature students (21+ when starting an undergraduate degree).
  • Students from Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showman, or Boater communities.
  • Students from military families.
  • Students receiving the CCCU Partner School Award.
  • Students from POLAR or TUNDRA Quintiles 1 or 2 (check your postcode).
