How do I pay my tuition fees?

Question:
How do I pay my tuition fees?
Answer:

Tuition fees are due at the start of your course and vary depending on what course you are studying.

Before commencing study at the University each year, you must either pay in full, or have in place an arrangement with the University to pay in instalments.

Your options:

A Loan from the Student Loan Company

The Government, via the Student Loans Company, offers loans to cover your tuition fees and assist with your living expenses whilst you are studying.

Once you have applied for a tuition fee loan and have received confirmation of that loan from the Student Loans Company, then the University will be paid directly by the Student Loans Company, usually in three instalments.

If you have not applied please go to www.gov.uk/student-finance.

Self-Payment Plan

If you are paying your tuition fees yourself, payments can be made by any of the following options:

  • Payment in full
  • Three equal instalments payable at the end of September, January and April
  • Eight equal monthly instalments payable at the end of September through to April

Go to htttps://payment.canterbury.ac.uk to set up a payment plan.

Payment by a sponsor

You must notify the Finance department at the University and provide details of your Sponsor’s name, email address, telephone number and postal address, plus a Purchase Order number if this is required for payment.

Please email this to fees@canterbury.ac.uk and copy the email to accounts.receivable@canterbury.ac.uk

If you have any questions about making your payment please contact accounts.receivable@canterbury.ac.uk or call 01227 922500.
