If you’re eligible for an Undergraduate maintenance loan and registered up to 7 working days before your course starts, you should receive your payment on the scheduled date. If you register closer to or after the start date, your loan will be paid up to 7 working days after the course begins.
Just Re-Registered: It can take up to 2 weeks for Student Finance England to release your funds after re-registration. You won’t receive finance until you have completed re-registration. Awaiting Re-Registration: Re-registration emails are sent when you’re eligible. You will receive your finance only after re-registering, so please do so promptly once invited. The i-zone cannot provide exact dates on when you will be invited to re-register as this depends on when your results are processed, and your record is prepared.
If your Student Finance England portal says "awaiting confirmation" after registration, this typically updates within 48 hours. As long as your registration is complete and your personal details match, your finance will be processed. Mismatched information (e.g. your names, date of birth, year of study and course, cohort, and location) could cause a delay in the processing of your payment.

If finance isn’t received within 7 working days for new students or 2 weeks for continuing students who have re-registered, contact your Partner Institution, and they will escalate the issue through their SharePoint.
