Starting university can be tough, especially if you’re moving to another country. Living in the UK may be completely different to your hometown. From the different food and drink to the weather and language, it can seem quite overwhelming at first.

Studying at university is expensive. But as an international student at CCCU, you may be eligible for scholarships and bursaries. Scholarships and bursaries are awards that pay you money which you don’t have to pay back.

3. You’ll have guaranteed accommodation in your first year.
There are some UK universities that don’t guarantee accommodation for their students. This can cause a lot of anxiety for when you start university as you may not have anywhere to live for when your lectures begin.
Thankfully, at CCCU, we offer an accommodation guarantee, which means that you’ll definitely be able to move into student accommodation for your first year and be settled in for when your course starts*.

To make university more affordable, there are a lot of things that you’ll have access to as a CCCU student.
Firstly, if you need help and support with your finances, you’ll have access to our support team. They can help you with budgeting, saving money, and can give you advice for managing part-time work alongside your studies.
You’ll also be able to work part-time during term time. Our on-site recruitment agency Unitemps can help you find part-time work. This will help you earn some money to help pay for your bills and fund your social life.
What’s more, we have the Cost of Living Hub that you’ll have access to. Here, you’ll be able to keep up to date with what support the University is offering and how you can manage and save your money.

5. You’ll have a lot of opportunities to make friends and enjoy campus life.
