CV advice and tips
Your CV is one of the most important parts of finding a job. Get it right and you’ll be considered for the job you want, often taking you straight to interview stage or in some cases a work trial - a chance to get a feel of the role first-hand.
A CV for a part-time job is usually one side of A4, maximum two sides if you have relevant information to put down. You could always do some research online for good examples.
When writing a CV, you want to make sure that your CV addresses the job description. The skills and experience you have should mirror the skills the employer is looking for.
Quite often CVs are not enough. While they generally include the basics of what you can do or have done, a cover letter or email goes further in providing more detail and allows you to express your desire in the job you’re applying for. Use your covering letter to complement your CV, tailoring to each role you apply for.
