Canterbury Amateur Film Archive

Since 2011, Senior Lecturer, Tim Jones, from the School of Media, Art and Design has been carrying out research into amateur film making in the Kent area, initially focusing on the Canterbury District. His new blog aims to show some of the highlights from this research.

Dreamland Project

Dreamland Project

In collaboration with the Dreamland Trust, Rob Ball has received funding to undertake a photographic research project that records the current state, reconstruction and resurrection of the Dreamland Amusement Park in Margate.

Arcade Tales

Arcade Tales aims to capture the unrecorded histories of the UK amusement arcade and to share these stories through comic books. It is a research project led by Dr Alan Meades from the School of Media, Art and Design.
