The event commences with refreshments on arrival at 09:30, followed by an introduction from the Chair, Dr. Martin Watts at 10:00. Professor Kevin Ruane will then deliver a talk describing the background and context of the raid, which will be followed by refreshments at 11:00.

At 11:15, Jordan Newton, a third year undergraduate at CCCU, will talk about the raid itself, and the final talk will be delivered by visiting Professor Paul Bennett.

The session will end with a 10 minute film presentation by Tim Jones.

City Walk with Paul Bennett

Following the morning events there will be a walk around the city to explore some of the locations concerned. There are only 25 places available and tickets need to be booked in advance.

The Eastbridge Hospital is planning to do a screening of ‘A Canterbury Tale’ at the hospital that evening, on 3rd June, at 6.30, with a glass of wine, donations welcome.Tickets can be booked on their website.
