Sunday 22 October 2017|10am-4pm Tutors: Peter & Lynne Flower | Canterbury campus | £39 In this day school we will explore how we have sought to understand the world around us through the application of scientific methods, from the first attempts to measure the size of the Earth and our exploration of the furthest reaches of the Universe to our investigations into the strange particles that make up our physical world. Along the way we will meet some of the people and learn of their contributions to our present day understanding of where we live. During the day we will have a go at some simple experiments.
